Hands down one of my favorite 80's horror films. you get to see Tom Atkins spit very funny lines throughout it, which is great (you'll recognize him from CREEPSHOW, HALLOWEEN III , or THE FOG to name a few)...
... the story is pretty cool, alien experiments gone wrong lead these sluggish things to earth. There they like to enter humans brains through the mouth, leaving the body in zombie like form.

enjoy this movie, it is fun as hell.

WARNING: watching this movie will make you like the 2006 film SLITHER a bit less.

PERKINS 14

is the first i've seen of the 3rd edition of 8 Films To Die For (AFTER DARK HORRORFEST).

if you'd be down to watch a movie with kidnapped children pumped full of PCP going buckwild upon release 10 years later, then by all means, watch this!

there is also an epic scene where you see a late 20's early 30's GOTH acoustic guitar player singing like a wuss to 18 and 19 year old "gothies"...
...and one of them has light brownish dreads.
